Artist Opportunity – Easl Art Heist, Dallas

The Emergency Artist Support League, “EASL”, will be holding it’s bi-annual fundraiser, Art Heist, on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 7PM to 11PM at Lofty Spaces in the Cedars area of Dallas.

It will be the ART PARTY OF THE YEAR!

If you have been to an ART HEIST in Dallas or Ft Worth in the past, you know why and if you haven’t, don’t miss it!  Details on the event and ticket sales will be forthcoming but right now EASL is seeking artists to donate work for the HEIST.

EASL is seeking work from artists who have not participated in the ART HEIST previously as well as from those who have. EASL Is looking for work that is valued at a minimum of $250 and that is no larger than 16” (easy to handle by one person) that the artist will deliver in ready-to-hang
condition. EASL is also seeking work from a few willing artists whose work has a minimum value of $500-800 or greater for a special drawing at the event.

If you have a piece in the ART HEIST, you will receive complimentary admission for yourself to the fundraiser.

EASL is very cognizant that artists are asked to donate work frequently for auctions and events but please note that PROCEEDS from the EASL Art Heist directly BENEFIT ARTISTS from the
Dallas/Ft Worth area and their next-door counties who are in need of emergency support.
If you are interested in donating work to the 2010 ART HEIST,  contact the 2010 ART HEIST Artist Chairs Marty Ray or Anna Palmer (at artheist2010@gmail.com) directly.  Artists will be contacted via email no later than July 26th so please respond ASAP. Past artists are likely to be in the EASL database but if you have new or updated contact information, please contact us as well.

Volunteers will also be needed in various capacities prior to and on the day and night of the ART HEIST.
If you are interested, email artheist2010@gmail.com. Include your name and contact information.
Interested volunteers will be contacted closer to the event.
This is going to be a spectacular ART HEIST and we want to thank the local art community for their ongoing support to EASL.

Thank you. Sincerely,
The EASL 2010 Art Heist Gang website: http://www.easl.us/
