Title: Food, Farm & Foliage Fine Art Exhibit

Description: Delmarva's "Food, Farm & Foliage Art Exhibit" Sponsored by American Pen Women's Holly Branch.  Delmarva's artists present fine art related to agricultural, past & present through food, farm & foliage. Judges will choice Best of Show & 1st Place in all categories of art. The public will vote on their favorites to present The Peoples Choice Awards. Artist Gift Show & Sale/Reception - Oct 9, 10 am - 3 pm. Futher details can be found at hollybranchapw.org. Qualifications: Eligibility
All artists, age 18 and older, males and females.
 

Mandatory Theme for Entries:
All entries must express the following regarding the Delmarva Peninsula (past or present): modern agriculture, agricultural heritage and/or rural culture of the Peninsula. That inspiration includes, depictions of rural landscape, barns, outbuildings, historical agricultural heritage, plants, crops, trees, and harvest, Delmarva grown food in any form, farm animals, rural life and those who enable food, feed and fiber production.
 

Categories of Art:
Up to 3 total (or a combined total of 3) in the following areas:
2 dimensional, framed or flat, original fine art in the following subcategories:
Oil/Acrylic Pastel Watercolor Photography Mixed Media/Collage Drawing Media reproductions will not be accepted. 3 dimensional original fine artisan pieces, totally hand created in the following subcategories: Wood Basketry Ceramics Glass Metal Textiles Paper
Conditions: Entries not previously displayed at Delaware Agricultural Museum, or part of a Holly Branch, NLAPW exhibit, may be entered.
 

Commissions & Judging: Delaware Agriculture Museum will retain 25% of all exhibit artist sales.
The following ribbons will be awarded as judged by an art professional and placed prior to Oct 9:
Best of Show
2D Fine Visual Art: 1st Place Ribbon in each subcategory mentioned above
3D Fine Artisan Art: 1st Place Ribbon in each subcategory mentioned above.
