Think you have what it takes to be the next big sensation in the Santa Barbara art world? Enter CAF’s annual Call For Entries and show us your stuff!

Call For Entries (CFE) is an annual juried exhibition that encourages artists from the local community to produce newly commissioned work. CFE is open to individuals currently living and/or working in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties. Three to six artists will be selected by a panel of jurors made up of artists and art professionals to exhibit new work in a group exhibition held at CAF in 2011. This year’s panel includes: TBD. All submittals are individually evaluated based on the artistic and creative strength of the recent (last five years) work. 

For rules and eligibility and to submit your application and fee, visit sbcaf.org. Fee is $20 for CAF members, $35 for non-members, and is waived for brand new members upon joining. Email vvelazquez@sbcaf.org to find out your membership status. Completed application and fee must be submitted online via sbcaf.org by Friday, October 8, 2010 at 5 pm. Selected applicants will be posted on the CFE webpage on TBD.
