Sunlime and Surreal Art Show Dallas Texas

Susan Roth Romans and Jordan Roth of Ro2 Art present Sublime & Surreal, a playful offering of concrete, color, resin and clay by artists Arlene Cason, Mike Kury, Vanessa Neil and Kevin Obregon. Cason and Kury share a busy studio near Denison, Texas showing regularly in the North Texas city's vibrant art community. They will be offering new works in clay, resin, graphite and concrete, including Mike Kury's sensual “Buni” forms in varying sizes and multiple media.

Well-known Oak Cliff artists Vanessa Neil and Kevin Obregon will offer up new paintings, drawings, and modular cubes, as well as resin-treated photography from their recent three-week graffiti research and residency in Melbourne Australia.

This show reflects a newly-minted dialogue from their first 4-person collaborative, seen at the Mary Karam Gallery in Denison, Texas earlier this year. Several of the new works shown have been influenced by the other artists since their March collaboration.

Sublime & Surreal will run from July 10 through August 7, 2010 at Ro2 Art at 1514 Commerce Street in the DP&L Building in Downtown Dallas, Texas.

An opening reception will be held Saturday, July 10, from 7 to 10pm.
