What is your name: Sergio Cervantes


Do you have a formal art education or are you a self taught artist: Self-taught


What is the style of your pieces: Is a combination of Glamour and Beauty


What is the medium in which you work: Photography.


What started you on your path as an artist: My son’s birth.


What is one of the most important things that art has brought to your life: Joy, beauty and freedom to express myself.


What is your favorite genre of art besides the one you work in: Music, Movies


Do you have art showings, and if so what are they typically like: Colorful, crowded and full of creativity.


Do you have a certain set of clothes you make art in: Comfortable one, shorts and t-shirt.


What has been the most frustrating part of being an artist? If galleries want “big names” how the talented emerging artists’ work is going to be exhibited and known?


What is your favorite sandwich of all time: The ones that my girlfriend prepares me when I am in the middle of the photo shoot and starving.


Has this year brought about any changes in your work, and if so what are they: My photographs started selling in galleries.


Who is your favorite artist alive or dead: Salvador Dali.


What is the most moving piece of artwork that you have seen in person: The face of my son the day he was born.


Do you have any animals, and what do they think of your work: No
