Artist Opportunity – Art Conspiracy – SEED Dallas

The Ransom Note
Greetings, Conspirators!
The time for SEED has arrived. This upcoming Friday, July 16th, we’ll kick things off at 7:00 p.m. at The Sons of Hermann Hall at 3414 Elm Street in Dallas. Tickets are $7 and the evening will feature music from The Cocky Americans, Jacob Metcalf and Johnny Beauford and will be hosted by Reid Robinson.
SEED is Art Conspiracy’s smaller summertime fundraiser that supports our large scale fundraiser we have later in the year (it’s scheduled for Oct. 23rd, venue TBD, please stay tuned…). This year’s SEED will feature clocks made by 30 local artists. Last month we gave artists some plywood and the necessary clock parts. Their finished products will be up for grabs in live auctions hosted by Art Con auctioneering alumni, Rob Shearer and Jason Roberts. If you don’t feel like waiting in line or you can’t make it to SEED, but you’d still like to support Art Con, you can purchase tickets in advance by clicking here: https://secure.prekindle.com/promo/id/20981892446703963

Opening bids on the clocks are $20.

Art Conspiracy is street level philanthropy. Members of the creative community in North Texas pool their talents and their time to create affordable bi-annual fundraising events that support other nonprofit arts programs. We’ve tried to make our events equal parts fundraiser and creative community event. Every year, we take the money we raise and donate it to a deserving beneficiary that is helping boost the creative scene here in the Dallas area. We are a 501c3 organization with IRS nonprofit status (so your donations and auction purchases are tax deductible!). Since 2005, Art Conspiracy has donated over $70,000 for our beneficiaries.
This year our chosen beneficiary is Today Marks the Beginning. a group that uses art to bring public awareness of important social issues and to promote peace and social justice. Currently the group offers MasterPEACE, a program that helps young artists explore creative solutions to conflict. Please visit their site to see what the students in their program have accomplished:http://www.todaymarksthebeginning.org

We hope to see you on Friday night. Again, a big thank you to the growing community of volunteers, artists, musicians and supporters who make Art Conspiracy happen. If you'd like more information on Art Conspiracy, please visit http://www.artconspiracy.org
