Call to artists Dallas

The Latino Cultural Center is seeking artists for it's Día de los Muertos Exhibition.
Exhibition dates: October 29, 2011 - November 3, 2011
About REVIVE:

The annual community exhibition of calaveritas, conceived by Dieste, celebrates the Día de los Muertos.This year, we go green with a reuse, recycle, revive theme!

The REVIVE exhibit wants to give a second life to the things you no longer use, to create art with recycled materials such as bottles, aluminum cans, paper, plastic, metal, etc. This call for submissions is going out to all sculptors, painters and visual, audiovisual, professional, amateur or student artists. If you are interested, please send an email to hortencia.rubalcava@dallascityhall.com indicating that you would like to participate. Pieces must be dropped off on Friday, October 21 or Saturday, October 22. The exhibition will take place in the LCC gallery from October 29 through November 3. There will be a special prize for the best piece. Let's celebrate Day of the Dead with your art!
