University of Memphis
 

The University of Memphis seeks an artist to design, fabricate and install a naturalistic, life-size (or slightly larger) bronze tiger sculpture. The commission includes the design of the sculpture, the base and an additional design element for donor recognition. Selected finalists will be paid a fee of $1,500 for a detailed sketch and budget. The final project budget is to be determined by the selected artist and the University of Memphis Foundation.

This Call for Artists is open to all artists living in the United States. The selected artist will have demonstrated skill in the design of naturalistic, sculptural forms and in the successful creation of such forms in bronze.
