Silver Gardens Project Prospectus is Out Now Call to Artists New Mexico

The Public Art Program is requesting proposals for a public art project in downtown Albuquerque.

The site for the artwork is located at the southern downtown area at the junction between 1st and 2nd Streets, bordered on the southern edge by the Lead Avenue overpass at a parking structure and will support a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork that could become a destination for residents and visitors alike. It is a compact, tight site with narrow spaces and an overall lack of thematic branding. It is an urban space that suggests a whimsical, conceptual or off-beat artwork that will encourage a walk to view it.
