(New York NY)
Intern for Manhattan Fine Arts Studio
I have been a visual artist for forty years working in a 45000 square foot studio since 1974. I am seeking an unpaid intern for two or three days per week (8 hours/day).
The person selected for the internship will be exposed to all facets of my practice in this international studio and gain invaluable experience by witnessing and participating in most everything that occurs during the workday.
Some responsibilities the internship covers include:
• running errands (post office, supply shopping, etc.)
• art installation
• art packing/shipping/handling
• image editing (Photoshop)
• data entry (exhibit-e's gallery manager database program)
• web design (Dreamweaver, etc.)
• art production (making the work)
The right person for this job will be very open and willing to learn the different tasks, programs, and working procedures of this studio.
The candidate must not be afraid of computers and have a positive attitude.
If you're interested in this opportunity please send us your resume and a cover letter. studiointernship231@gmail.com
